Biography
Poliça, an American synth-pop band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, was formed in 2011 by Channy Leaneagh, Chris Bierden, Drew Christopherson, Ben Ivascu, and producer Ryan Olson. Their debut album, Give You the Ghost, released in 2012 on Totally Gross National Product, marked their breakthrough. The band signed with Mom + Pop Music later that year and re-released the album. In 2013, they released their second album, Shulamith, featuring the single "Tiff" with Justin Vernon of Bon Iver. Poliça continued to release albums including United Crushers (2016), Music For the Long Emergency (2018), When We Stay Alive (2020), and Madness (2022). Their seventh studio album, Dreams Go, include the singles "Dreams Go", and "She Knows Me".
