Biography

Pink Industry was a post-punk band from Liverpool, United Kingdom, formed in 1981 by Jayne Casey after the dissolution of her previous group Pink Military. The band initially featured Casey and Ambrose Reynolds, with Tadzio Jodlowski joining later to complete the trio. Their debut release was the Forty-Five EP in February 1982, which included the lead track "Is This The End?" Later that year, they released their first album, Low Technology, reaching number 12 on the UK Independent Chart. A second album, Who Told You You Were Naked?, followed later in 1983 and peaked at number 9 on the Indie chart. After a hiatus, they returned with the album New Beginnings in 1985. The band released their final single in late 1987 and disbanded around the same time.
