Phil Driscoll, born November 9, 1947 in Seattle, Washington, is an American musician known for his work as a trumpeter, singer, composer, and producer. He began playing the trumpet at a young age and released his debut album A Touch of Trumpet under Word Records in 1968. Driscoll performed on national television shows throughout the 1970s and collaborated with notable artists like Joe Cocker and Steven Stills. In 1985, he won a Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance by a Duo or Group for "Keep the Flame Burning" with Debby Boone. His discography includes albums such as Acclaimed & Framed (1978) and Celebrate Freedom (1984), and he established Mighty Horn Ministries, focusing on Christian ministry through his music.
