Domenic Licciardello, known professionally as Carman, was born on January 19, 1956, in Trenton, New Jersey. He started performing with his mother's band at a young age and learned to play drums and guitar. Later, after moving to Las Vegas, he became a born-again Christian following an Andraé Crouch concert. Carman released his debut album Godâs Not Finished with Me in 1980 and signed with Priority Records in 1982. His career included notable albums like Sundayâs on the Way, which peaked at number 13 on the US Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, and Comin' on Strong. He achieved four Grammy nominations and sold over 10 million records. Carman also hosted programs on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. He passed away on February 16, 2021.
