Biography

Petra Gargano, born Petra Mauria on July 11, 1985, in Helsinki, Finland, is a Finnish musician known for her work as a singer. She gained initial recognition at the age of 13 with her band Tiktak and was named Miss Pop by the Finnish internet site Star.fi in 2004. Following the disbandment of Tiktak in 2007, Gargano embarked on a solo career. In 2008, she signed with Sony Music and released her debut album Rakas kaupunki in 2009, which included notable singles such as "Kuka mÃ¤ oon" and "Valtameri". Her second album, Kaksi pintaa, was released in 2013.
