Biography

Peter Wackel (born January 4, 1977 in Erlangen) is a party singer and solo entertainer from Germany. Born Steffen Peter Haas, he gained fame through his regular appearances in bars and discotheques on Mallorca. He has been performing on the vacation island since 1996. in 1997, Peter Wackel released his debut single "Vier (Nachts Stand Ich Vor Ihr)". the singer's debut album Jetzt Wackelts Im Karton followed in 1999. Further albums followed with Liebe, Sünde, Leidenschaft (2000), Wackelkontakt (2001) and Livealbum (2003). In 2005, with the support of the record label EMI, Peter Wackel and Power Wuschel made it into the German charts for the first time with the single "Das Lied über mich" at number 62. in 2007, his song "Ladioo" (from the album Wackel Peter - Das Best of Peter Wackel Album) becomes the unofficial anthem of the Handball World Cup in Germany. In the same year, Peter Wackel landed a minor hit with the song "Joana (Du Geile Sau)", reaching number 14 in the German charts. The song is a cover version of a song by pop singer Roland Kaiser. in 2008, Peter Wackel takes on another Roland Kaiser song and reaches number 54 in the German charts with his version of the song "Manchmal Möchte Ich Schon Mit Dir". In recent years, Peter Wackel has regularly released songs, most recently the song "An Der Theke" in 2021.
