Biography

Peligrosos Gorriones, an Argentine alternative rock band from La Plata, was formed in 1991 with Francisco Bochatón on bass and vocals, Guillermo Coda on guitar, and Trilo on drums. The group initially performed under the name Peligrosos Machitos before changing to Peligrosos Gorriones with the addition of Martín "Cuervo" Karakachoff on keyboards and Rodrigo Velázquez on drums. Their debut album Peligrosos Gorriones was released in 1993, featuring notable tracks "El bicho reactor" and "Escafandra", which reached number 13 on MTV's Top 20. The album was nominated for the ACE Awards and the band was named a breakthrough band based on a poll by the Clarin newspaper. In 1995, they released Fuga, highlighted by "Manicomio Gris" and "El mimo". Their third studio album, Antiflash, was released in 1997. Despite disbanding for several months, they reunited for various performances, including a live recording in 2014 titled Vivo 2014.
