Pavel ElÃas Núñez RamÃrez, born on March 2, 1979, in the Dominican Republic, is a singer known for his contributions to Latin pop and fusion style. In 1995, he formed the band Código Genético with Homero Guerrero, blending Cuban trova with other musical influences such as blues and folk. After leaving Código Genético, Núñez co-founded Los Fulanos in 1996 and later El Corredor de la 27. In 2001, he signed with RCC Records and began working on his first musical production, "Paso a paso". Núñez collaborated with Danny Rivera on songs on the albums De Vuelta A Casa and Atlantis, and produced one of Rivera's discs in 2016. In 2013, he won an Emmy Award for his show "Big Band Núñez" and received multiple Soberano awards, including Album of the Year in 2016 for De Mis Insomnios.
