Biography
Electronic musician Patrick Topping was born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England on February 25, 1989. While growing up in North Shields, he became interested in the club culture and especially electronic music. He attended the University of Edinburgh before he shifted his focus to creating music. In 2009, he did his first DJ set, which inspired him enough to continue honing his DJ skills. Patrick Topping released his first EP, Walk On, in 2013. His tech-house heavy sound attracted a worldwide audience and led to further EP releases including Get Beasty (2014), Rights (2015), Be Sharp Say Nowt (2017), Turbo Time (2019), Planet Session (2021), Shake My Booty (2022), Energy (2024), and more. His later singles include âOceanâ (2025), â Want Youâ (2025), and âAll the DJsâ (2025). Over the course of his career, Patrick Topping collaborated with other electronic artists including Nathan Barato, Camden Cox, and Ewan McVicar. He continues to be a popular DJ and artist at many music festivals around the world.
