Biography

Born on 6 June 1996 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Ben Hemsley is a dynamic UK house producer and DJ known for blending classic house grooves with a modern twist. Growing up in North Shields, he started out DJing at under-18 club events in his area and in 2019 began making waves as a producer with the "Caress Me" single, which was co-signed by BBC Radio 1 DJ Danny Howard. His career went from strength to strength after that, locking in a profile-boosting two-hour Essential Mix on Pete Tong's BBC Radio 1 show and inaugurating the arrival of his own label bebÃ© with his EP1. He was crowned Best Producer at the DJ Mag Best of British awards in 2023 and that same year dropped the "Every Little Thing" single on Ministry of Sound. He has since released several other singles, including "IBIZA" (2023, bebÃ©), "BenirrÃ s" (2023, bebÃ©) and "Closer" (2024, Ministry of Sound) featuring Chenai Zinyuku, logging a portfolio of high-profile sets along the way.
