Biography

Paice Ashton Lord was a British rock band formed in 1976, featuring Deep Purple members Ian Paice and Jon Lord alongside singer Tony Ashton. The lineup also included Bernie Marsden on guitar and Paul Martinez on bass. Their studio album, Malice in Wonderland, was released in February 1977. In 1977, the band appeared on the BBC2 and BBC Radio 1 simulcast series Sight and Sound in Concert, performing material from Malice in Wonderland. Paice Ashton Lord disbanded in 1978. The album was later reissued on CD by Purple Records in 2001.
