Biography

Øystein Dolmen, born on February 19, 1947, in Trondheim, Norway, is a Norwegian singer. Dolmen gained prominence as one half of the duo Knutsen & Ludvigsen, formed with Gustav Lorentzen in 1970. The duo released five albums between 1970 and 1983, earning two Spellemann awards for best children's record. After their split in 1986, Dolmen continued his solo career, releasing På frifot in 1989 with Ellen Klemp, which won another Spellemann award. In 1991, he released his first solo album as the character "Feskhandler Thorske." Additionally, Dolmen has hosted children's shows on NRK television and authored several children's books.
