Oto Pestner, born on January 4, 1956, in Celje, Yugoslavia, is a Slovenian singer, composer, and arranger. He began his career as part of the New Swing Quartet, serving as its leader from 1970 until the end of 2008. His early singles included "SpuÅ¡ta Se NoÄ / Gdje Si, Ljubavi" and "Imel Sem Jo Rad / Dama". Pestner's album, Melodije Za Vas, was released in 1973. He is also known for his work with the Alpenoberkrainer, where he was a member from 1986 to 1991 and again in 1995. During this period, Pestner contributed as both a singer and composer on ten recordings. His notable compositions include Aus Liebe zur Musik and Dan Za Zaljubljene.
