Oranssi Pazuzu is a Finnish metal band from Tampere that was formed in 2007. The group consists of Juho "Jun-His" Vanhanen, Niko "Ikon" Lehdontie, Toni "Ontto" Hietamäki, Jarkko "Korjak" Salo, and Ville "Evil" Leppilahti. Original guitarist Moit left the band in 2016. Inspired by the experimental band Circle, Oranssi Pazuzu released their debut album Muukalainen puhuu in 2009 through Violent Journey Records. Their second studio album, Kosmonument, was released in 2011 via Spinefarm and marked a significant breakthrough for the band internationally. The group's third album, Valonielu, produced by Jaime Gómez Arellano, was released in 2013 through Svart Records. In 2016, Oranssi Pazuzu achieved chart success with their fourth album, Värähtelijä, which received positive reviews from mainstream publications like Pitchfork and Spin. The band's fifth studio album, Mestarin kynsi, was released in 2020 by Nuclear Blast. Their sixth album, Muuntautuja, was released in 2024.
