Biography

Gustaf Edvin Olof Adolphson, known professionally as Olle Adolphson, was born on May 2, 1934, in Stockholm, Sweden. He began his career as a singer-songwriter and writer. Adolphson debuted in 1956 with the song collection Aubade and released his first album En Stol På Tegnér in 1962. Throughout the 1960s and early 1970s, he released several notable albums, including Visor Under 10 år, Vad Tänker Jag På, and Låtar I Stan. Some of his most beloved songs include "Gustaf Lindströms visa" and "Trubbel". Adolphson also collaborated with other notable artists. His work was recognized for its depth and catchy tunes, which often became popular in instrumental versions. Olle Adolphson passed away on March 10, 2004, in Stockholm. In 2005, a tribute album titled Dubbel Trubbel featuring various Swedish artists was released.
