Born in Coventry on June 7, 1981, British composer, singer and musician Olivia Broadfield divides her time between film and TV soundtracks and personal recordings of pop and electronica. After starting out composing for TV shows in 2008, she signed with the American label Vagrant Records and recorded the album Eyes Wide Open (2009). In 2011, she changed labels and signed with Sony/ATV for the album The Beautiful War, from which several songs were chosen for series such as Grey's Anatomy, 90210, The Nine Lives of Chloe King, The Vampire Diaries and Chasing Life. After a third album released by Pledge Music, Paper Dolls (2013), Olivia Broadfield composed the track "Bird" with Billie Marten , which was noticed on listening platforms, then set to work on her fourth album Jumberlack (2015), released on the Secretly Canadian label, whose track "Wishing and Waiting " appears in the film Tragedy Girls. In 2020, she begins work on The Split series, which spans several seasons and gives rise to various EP and album releases.
