Biography

Referred to as the UK’s ‘Smooth Jazz Ambassador’, keyboardist, producer, and composer Oli Silk was born in London, England on March 7, 1979. Recording and producing his own music since the age of 13, Oli Silk made his debut with the 2006 album So Many Ways. That same year, he made his live festival debut at the Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival and won Debut Artist of the Year awards from Smooth Jazz News and JazzTrax. In the U.S., the song “Easy Does It” made it into the Top 20 on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz chart. Further albums in his catalog include The Limit’s The Sky (2008), All We Need (2010), Razor Sharp Brit (2013), Where I Left Off (2016), and 6 (2020). His 2009 single “Chill or Be Chilled” rose to Number 3 on the Billboard chart and was bettered five years later with 2014’s “At Your Service” (featuring Julian Vaughn), which rose to Number 1 on the same chart in the US.
