Referred to as the UKâs âSmooth Jazz Ambassadorâ, keyboardist, producer, and composer Oli Silk was born in London, England on March 7, 1979. Recording and producing his own music since the age of 13, Oli Silk made his debut with the 2006 album So Many Ways. That same year, he made his live festival debut at the Catalina Island JazzTrax Festival and won Debut Artist of the Year awards from Smooth Jazz News and JazzTrax. In the U.S., the song âEasy Does Itâ made it into the Top 20 on Billboardâs Smooth Jazz chart. Further albums in his catalog include The Limitâs The Sky (2008), All We Need (2010), Razor Sharp Brit (2013), Where I Left Off (2016), and 6 (2020). His 2009 single âChill or Be Chilledâ rose to Number 3 on the Billboard chart and was bettered five years later with 2014âs âAt Your Serviceâ (featuring Julian Vaughn), which rose to Number 1 on the same chart in the US.
