Pavlos Sidiropoulos, born July 27, 1948, in Athens, Greece, was a Greek musician who is considered one of the pillars of Greek rock. He began his music career in 1970 with the formation of Damon and Phintias in Thessaloniki, which later merged with Bourboulia. In 1976, he formed Spyridoula with brothers Vassilis and Niko Spyropoulos, releasing the influential album Flou (1978). He collaborated extensively with Yannis Markopoulos on albums such as Thessalikos Kyklos (1974) and Oropedio (1976). In 1980, he helped establish Oi Aprosarmostoi. Sidiropoulos faced censorship issues with his album En Lefko in 1982, where three songs were heavily censored. He died on December 6, 1990. Posthumous releases include Ante ke kali tichi maghes (1991), which included unreleased recordings of Sidiropoulous as well as tracks by other artists.
