Biography

Obey the Brave was a Canadian hardcore punk and metalcore band from Montreal and Ottawa formed in 2012. The original lineup featured vocalist Alex Erian, bassist Miguel Lepage, drummer Stevie Morotti, and guitarists John Campbell and Greg Wood. They released their debut EP Ups and Downs (2012) and the studio album Young Blood (2012), which featured the single “Get Real” (2012). The band toured extensively on the All Stars Tour and the Never Say Die! Tour in 2012. They followed with the studio album Salvation (2014) and the single “Raise Your Voice” (2014). In 2015, Greg Wood left them and was replaced by Terrence McAuley. They released subsequent albums Mad Season (2017) and Balance (2019) before announcing their split in July 2020. The members decided to end the group because their focus and priorities had changed.
