Biography

Norma Jean Beasler, born January 30, 1938, in Wellston, Oklahoma, is an American country music singer. She started performing on local radio stations at a young age and joined various bands in the mid-1950s. In 1959, she signed with Columbia Records after appearing on Ozark Jubilee. Beasler's career took off when she joined The Porter Wagoner Show in 1961. Her debut album for RCA Victor, Let's Go All the Way (1964), featured the hit single "Let's Go All the Way", which peaked at Number 11 on the Billboard country chart. She released several successful albums, including Pretty Miss Norma Jean (1965). Beasler left Wagoner's show in 1967 and continued releasing albums until 1973. She was nominated for two Grammy Awards and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
