Xaa Xaa, a Japanese visual kei rock band formed in Osaka in 2014, originated from the collaboration of vocalist Kazuki, guitarist Haru, bassist Reiya, and drummer An. The group first gained attention with the single "Shitai Dakedeshi yo?" and the compilation Chūdoku Shōjō in 2015, marking their initial breakthrough. Their debut studio album 中毒症状 was released on 23 March 2016, followed by the single "カミソリ" on 7 September 2016 and "余命" on 2 November 2016. In 2019 the duo released 中毒症状〜二〜, while the EP 五月病 on 5 May 2021 became the best‑selling release to date. The band’s second full‑length album 失敗作 arrived on 6 October 2021, and the EP HISYATAI HA SHITAI followed on 26 July 2023. The single "Draw" was issued on 11 October 2023 in seven editions and served as the ending theme for the anime Duel Masters : WIN Duel Academy Edition, marking Xaa Xaa’s first entry into an anime series. In February 2024 the band performed internationally for the first time at Katsucon in the United States, and a subsequent EP 僕とOD was released on 27 March 2024. The EP 傘がない was released in 2024.
