Biography
Formed in Oslo in 2007, Norwegian pop/rock trio No. 4 consists of singers and musicians Emilie Stoesen Christiensen (vocals), Ingeborg Marie Mohn (keyboards, guitar, vocals) and Julia Witek (bass, vocals). After a first song, "Lite og stort", released in 2014 and used for an airline advertising campaign, the trio signed with Arch Records and released two albums on this label, Henda i vær (2016), nominated twice for the 2016 Spellemannprisen (the Norwegian Grammy Awards), then Vad nå, also nominated in 2017. In 2017, the band won the Prøysen Prize for their contribution to Norwegian music. Subsequent albums on the Samkjørt AS label include Duell (2019), again nominated for a 2019 Spellemannprisen, No. 4 (2021) and Indre liv (2024).
