Biography
Nitrogods is a German rock 'n' roll band that was founded in Hanover in 2011. The band consists of Oimel Larcher (vocals, bass), Henny Wolter (guitar) and Klaus Sperling (drums). Their musical style can be described as a mixture of hard rock, rock 'n' roll and punk rock, heavily influenced by bands such as Motörhead. The band released their self-titled debut album Nitrogods in 2012, followed by further albums such as Rats and Rumours (2014), Roadkill BBQ (2017) and Rebel Dayz (2019). With their energetic sound and authentic attitude, Nitrogods quickly established themselves in the German rock scene. Their current and fifth studio album Valley of the Gods will be released in fall 2024. Nitrogods are known for their powerful live performances and regularly tour Europe. They perform at renowned festivals such as the Wacken Open Air and share the stage with well-known acts in the scene. In September 2023, the band announces that after more than 10 years of successful collaboration with Dragon Productions, they are now breaking new ground. Dolores Lokas takes over the worldwide booking for WE-Live agency, while Andreas Rennmann acts as the new manager.
