Biography

Winterstorm, a German power metal band from Bayreuth, was formed in 2008 by drummer Schlagzeuger Sebastian Albrecht and bassist Peter Cerveny. They released their debut album A Coming Storm in early 2011, which received positive reviews. The band gained traction through support slots for acts like Rage and DragonForce, and won the Medieval Rock Award at Festival-Mediaval in 2011. Winterstorm's second album Kings Will Fall was released in 2012, followed by Cathyron in 2014. The band underwent lineup changes in late 2015 and released their fourth album Cube of Infinity in 2016, which reached number 31 on the German Album Charts. Winterstorm signed with AFM Records in 2019 and released their fifth album Everfrost in 2023.
