Biography

Night Verses, an American post-rock band from Fullerton, California, was formed in 2012 by guitarist Nick DePirro, bassist Reilly Herrera, and drummer Aric Improta. Their breakthrough came when Douglas Robinson joined after seeing them perform. They released their debut EP Out of the Sky in May 2012, which won EP of the Year on Punktastic's Reader awards. The band's first full-length album, Lift Your Existence, was released in June 2013 and received critical acclaim. In September 2015, Night Verses signed with Equal Vision/Graphic Nature Records and released their second LP, Into the Vanishing Light, in July 2016. Their third album, From the Gallery of Sleep, followed in June 2018. In August 2023, they announced their fifth album, Every Sound Has a Color in the Valley of Night.
