Secret Lives of the Freemasons is an American post-hardcore band from Asheville, North Carolina, formed in 2003 following the dissolution of two local bands, A Kiss Before Dying and Throwing Myself. Their lineup consisted of Cliff Brien Worsham on lead vocals and keys, Jim Debardi on guitar, keys, and vocals, Tucker Ensley on guitar, Josh Carden on bass, Travis Moss on drums, and Justin Elrod on guitar and vocals. They released the EP The Cut And Thrust Of Clear Thinking (2004). In 2004, they signed with Astro Magnetics and released the full-length album This Was Built To Make You Dance (2005). They left Astro Magnetics in June 2007 and subsequently signed with Victory Records, releasing the album Weekend Warriors (2008). They toured nationally with notable acts such as He Is Legend, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, The Sleeping, and Envy On the Coast.
