Nicu Paleru, born on April 23, 1973, in PiteÈti, Muntenia, Romania, was a Romanian manele musician and performer. He began his career in the early 1990s as part of the party music scene. Nicu Paleru gained national success in the late 1990s with the help of a Romanian TV show dedicated to party music. His debut album, Vol. 2, was released in 1995. Subsequent albums include Vol. 5 (1996), Vol. 9 (1998), Nicu Paleru (2000), and Nou (2001).
