Nick Jones, known professionally as Nick 13, was born in Ukiah, California. He is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist, best known for his role as the lead vocalist of psychobilly band Tiger Army. In 1996, Tiger Army signed to Hellcat Records and released their self-titled debut album in 1999. The band continued with II: Power of Moonlite (2001), III: Ghost Tigers Rise (2004), and Music from Regions Beyond (2007). In 2016, they released their latest album, V â¢â¢â¢â, on Luna Tone Records / Rise Records. Nick 13 also pursued a solo career in the alternative country genre, debuting at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, in spring 2010. His first solo album, Nick 13, was released in 2011 by Sugar Hill Records. The album received favorable reviews and included notable singles such as "Nighttime Sky".
