Neda Ukraden, born Ðеда УкÑаден on August 16, 1950, in Glavina Donja, PR Croatia, Yugoslavia, is a Serbian-Croatian singer. She began her professional career in 1967 and released her first singles, "Sve Å¡to moje srce zna / Ako me trebaÅ¡" (1969) and "Je l' to taj / Tri djevojke" (1973), which marked the start of her musical journey. Ukraden's debut album, Srce u srcu (1975), was followed by a series of successful releases including Ko me to od nekud doziva (1976) and Nedine najljepÅ¡e pjesme (1977). Throughout her career, she released over thirty studio albums, with notable works such as To mora da je ljubav (1982), OÄi tvoje govore (1984), and HoÄu tebe (1985). Her music spans various genres, including pop-folk, folk, turbo-folk, dance, and pop music. Her extensive discography includes collaborations with prominent labels such as Jugoton, ZKP RTVL, Diskoton, Komuna, PGP RTB, and PGP RTS. With collective sales exceeding five million records, Ukraden is one of the most successful artists from former Yugoslavia.
