Biography
Necrophagist, a German technical death metal band founded in 1992 by guitarist and vocalist Muhammed Suiçmez. Their debut album Onset Of Putrefaction was released in 1999. In 2004, they released their second and final studio album Epitaph. Throughout their career, Necrophagist performed at notable festivals such as Brutal Assault and undertook extensive tours including "Carving North America's Epitaph" in 2006. The band experienced several lineup changes over the years, with key members such as Hannes Grossmann and Sami Raatikainen contributing to their sound. In 2008, Necrophagist began work on a new album but ultimately disbanded in April 2016.
