Ne Obliviscaris is an Australian progressive metal band from Melbourne formed in April 2003 by Marc Campbell and Adam Cooper. They released their debut independent demo The Aurora Veil (2007) before issuing their first studio album Portal of I (2012). Their second album Citadel (2014) reached number 42 on the ARIA Albums Chart. In January 2017, the group dismissed bassist Brendan Brown following allegations of domestic violence and subsequently released their third album Urn (2017). The track âIntra Venusâ (2017) from the album won the Independent Music Award for Best Metal/Hardcore Song in 2018. Their discography includes the album Exul (2023). Founder Marc Campbell left them in January 2025 and was replaced on harsh vocals by James Dorton. The ensemble uses a combination of violin, dual guitars, and both clean and harsh vocals.
