Biography
The latest sub-unit of South Korean boyband favourites NCT, NCT New Team (also known as NCT Tokyo) is composed of six membersâSion, Yushi, Riku, Sakuya, Daeyoung, and Ryoâand managed by SM Entertainment and Avex Trax. They shared the first taste of their sound with their debut single "Hands Up" in October 2023 before making their official debut the following February with the single album Wish, which was influenced by hip-hip and propelled by a lead single that came in both Japanese and Korean form. Wish ruled South Korea's Circle Album Chart at number one in February 2024. On May 4, NCT WISH released a teaser for their second single, "Songbird," which was released on June 26. On September 9, the group released "Dunk Shot" ahead of their first mini-album, Steady, which was released on September 24. In 2025, NCT WISH released their 2nd mini album, poppop. On September 1, 2025, they released their third EP COLOR.
