Biography
South Korean K-pop boy band formed by Brand New Music in 2019, AB6IX initially comprised Lim Young-min, Jeon Woong, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi. After participating in 2017 music reality show Produce 101, AB6IX made their debut in BrandNewBoys (2019). A debut EP, titled B:Complete, was unveiled the same year, reaching number 2 on the South Korean charts. Just a few months later, the album 6ixense was released, also landing at number 2. EPs, Vivid and Salute followed in 2020, climbing to number 3 and 5, respectively, as well as Mo' Complete: Have a Dream in 2021, which also went to number 3. Their debut album Mo' Complete dropped a few weeks later, once again hitting the number 2 spot. After Japanese EP Absolute 6ix was released at the very end of 2021, the band embarked on a prolific 2022, with four new top 10 EPs: Complete with You, A to B, Savior, and Take a Chance. In May 2023, a seventh EP was released, The Future Is Ours: Lost, which went to number 7. Its successor, The Future Is Ours: Found, did even better, climbing to number 3, preceded by the single "Grab Me." AB6IX released another EP in the same year, titled Born Like This. In August 25, 2025, AB6IX released their 10th EP, UPSIDE DOWN.
