Yuta Nakamoto, better known as Yuta, is a Japanese singer, dancer, actor, and radio host based in South Korea. Born on October 26, 1995, in Kadoma, Osaka, Yuta Nakamoto grew up with an older and a younger sister, initially aspiring to be a professional footballer. His interest in entertainment sparked in 2011 after watching TVXQ, leading him to attend multiple auditions and eventually join SM Entertainment. He was introduced as a member of SM Rookies in 2013 and made his official debut with NCT 127 in 2016 and later with NCT U in 2020. Yuta Nakamoto ventured into acting and hosting, appearing in shows and earning endorsements. In 2022, he made his acting debut and was listed in Forbes Japan's 30 Under 30. Recently in 2024, Yuta Nakamoto launched his solo music career with the EP Depth, marking a significant milestone with a debut showcase tour in Japan. His first full album, PERSONA, released on October 26, 2025, enetered Japan's Top 100 Albums chart at rank 30 on the week it was released.
