Biography
J-Pop boy group &TEAM was formed in 2022 as a result of an amalgamation of South Korean and Japanese reality television competitions I-Land and &Audition-The Howling. Produced by HYBE Entertainment, the company behind world-renowned K-Pop group BTS, nine trainees were chosen after extensive auditions: K, Fuma, Nicholas, EJ, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki with the group releasing their debut EP First Howling: ME on December 7, 2022, earning them an award for one of the Best 5 New Artists at the Japan Gold Disk Awards. Continuing to gain momentum in 2023, &TEAM released First Howling: We on June 14, 2023, which shot straight to Number 1 on the Oricon Top 100 Albums chart, following this with their debut studio album First Howling: Now, which appeared on November 15, the same year. Their 2nd album Yukiakari was released on December 1, 2024.
