Biography
J-Pop boy group &TEAM was formed in 2022 as a result of an amalgamation of South Korean and Japanese reality television competitions I-Land and &Audition-The Howling. Produced by HYBE Entertainment, the company behind world-renowned K-Pop group BTS, nine trainees were chosen after extensive auditions: K, Fuma, Nicholas, EJ, Yuma, Jo, Harua, Taki, and Maki with the group releasing their debut EP First Howling: ME on December 7, 2022, earning them an award for one of the Best 5 New Artists at the Japan Gold Disk Awards. Continuing to gain momentum in 2023, &TEAM released First Howling: We on June 14, 2023, which shot straight to Number 1 on the Oricon Top 100 Albums chart, following this with their debut studio album First Howling: Now, which appeared on November 15, the same year. Their 2nd album Yukiakari was released on December 1, 2024. On April 21, 2026, they released their 3rd EP, We on Fire. The EP recorded 1.089 million copies sold on its first day of release, marking their third consecutive million-sellerâfollowing "Go in Blind"(2025) and Back to Life(2025)âand achieving a cumulative total of three consecutive million-selling releases.
