Biography

Nana Grizol is an American indie folk band based in Athens, Georgia. The group was formed with frontman Theo Hilton and has featured various members including Laura Carter, Robbie Cucchiaro, Jared Gandy, Matte Cathcart, Kate Mitchell, Ian Rickert, Patrick Jennings, Michael Schneeweis, Madeline Adams, Margaret Child, Emily Simpson, and Lacey Jon. Nana Grizol released their debut album Love It Love It in 2008. Their subsequent albums include Ruth, released in 2010, and Ursa Minor, which came out in 2017. The band also released a compilation of early recordings titled Theo Zumm in 2018. In 2020, they put out their fifth album South Somewhere Else. Nana Grizol's second EP, Dancing Dogs, was released in 2022. The band has also released live albums and several concert recordings.
