Biography

José Miñano Guerrero, known professionally as Mr. Rango, was born on March 9, 1972, in Vallecas, Madrid, Spain. He is a DJ and singjay who began his career with El Club de los Poetas Violentos (CPV). Initially joining CPV for collaborations, Miñano Guerrero became a permanent member after the release of Grandes planes in 1998. That year, he launched his solo career with the maxi-single El hombre de los 6 millones de dolores. In 2002, Mr. Rango released his debut full-length album, Baby Tú / Night Fever, which featured collaborations with artists like La Cheque and Chukki Starr. His music often explores themes of love, relationships, and solitude. In 2010, he released the double album Noche y día. Mr. Rango has collaborated extensively with other artists, including Violadores del Verso and Chronic Sound, and has performed at notable events like the Sting festival in December 2011. In 2015, he released his third solo album, Fuego cruzado, produced in collaboration with Mad Shak. The album was recorded and mixed at Chronic Studio and mastered by Javier "Di Doctah" Ustara at Mpire Studio.
