Jeron C. Gibson, known professionally as Mr. Lucci, was born on November 15, 1982, in Lone Star, Texas, and is an American hip hop recording artist, actor, and entrepreneur. After moving to Dallas following his father's death, he developed an interest in music by writing lyrics to old rap and R&B songs. At age 16, Mr. Lucci was introduced to Kevin A., CEO of Iconic Records, who featured him on Mr. Pookie's album Tha Rippla. In 2001, Mr. Lucci released his debut solo album Diabolical, which included hits like "Diabolical" and "Getting High". He left Iconic Records in 2003 to form Stoney Crook Records with Mr. Pookie, releasing the double-disc album My Life that peaked at number 59 on Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Album Charts. In 2010, he reunited with Mr. Pookie for their 10th anniversary album Tha Classicc. In 2013, Mr. Lucci collaborated with DJ A Bay Bay, the official DJ of Maybach Music Group, along with Dorrough, Big Chief, T.Cash, Pooca Leroy, Young Black, and Tum Tum on the Dallas anthem "I'm from Dallas".
