Biography

Modwheelmood, an American electronic/alternative pop band from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 1998 by Alessandro Cortini and Pelle Hillström. Their first EP, ?, was released in January 2003. In March 2000, the band was awarded the Artist Development Industry Choice at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood. Modwheelmood released subsequent EPs, including Enemies & Immigrants (2006) and Things Will Change, a companion remix disc released in July 2007. The band remixed "The Great Destroyer" by Nine Inch Nails on the album Year Zero Remixed. Modwheelmood released several EPs under the title Pearls to Pigs, culminating in a full-length album of the same name in June 2009.
