Biography

Miyuki Kosaka is a singer, actress, and TV personality born on February 7, 1963, in Yamato City, Kanagawa Prefecture. She made her debut in 1977 with the single “Ai no Mebae” (1977) and gained popularity for her crystal-clear voice, which was rooted in J-POP and kayōkyoku. Her representative works include the albums “CANTOS” (1991) and “JET LAG” (1984), and she is known for songs such as “Ai no Mebae” (1977), “Nuance Shimasho” (1984), and “Shooting Star” (1984). In particular, “Let’s Add Some Nuance” became a massive hit as the theme song for Shiseido’s fall 1984 advertising campaign and went on to become one of Kosaka’s signature songs. In the 1990s, she also received high acclaim for her cover album series “CANTOS” .
