Miquel Brown, born Michael Brown on 8 February 1945 in Montreal, Quebec, is a Canadian actor and disco/soul singer. She began her career as a dancer before transitioning into acting and music. Her breakthrough moment came when she took on the part of Sheila in the US touring company of the musical Hair. In 1978, she released her debut album, Symphony of Love, which included tracks like "Dancin' with the Lights Down Low" and "This is Something New to Me". In the early 1980s, she collaborated with Ian Levine and Fiachra Trench, leading to the release of the hi-NRG album Manpower in 1983. The single "So Many Men â So Little Time" from this album made it to number two on the club chart. Her subsequent albums included Close to Perfection (1985), which featured the hits "Black Leather" and "Close to Perfection". Throughout her career, she also appeared in various films and stage productions, including Superman, Rollerball, and A Streetcar Named Desire. Her notable film roles include appearances in French Kiss, An American Haunting, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. In 1997, she covered the Pet Shop Boys' classic "It's a Sin".
