Mika Agematsu, born on July 2, 1982 in Nagano Prefecture, Japan, is a harpist and composer. Inspired by her mother, a professional harpist, Agematsu began taking lessons at age 12 and received professional training during trips to Paraguay. In 1998, she participated in the Festival de Tacuare in Paraguay, becoming the first Japanese harpist to earn a special award. Agematsu's album Inocencia was released in 2000 Her subsequent albums include Poesia and Tesorito.
