Michele Andrade, born on June 1, 1994, in Barreiros, Pernambuco, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter known for her unique blend of forró and sertanejo. She discovered her love for music at 13, influenced by her musical family and her early experiences singing in church. Her journey began in 2012 when she joined the forró group Companhia do Calypso, and later, she achieved a childhood dream by becoming the lead vocalist for the renowned band Limão com Mel in 2014. During her time with the band, she gained recognition with hits like "Eu Sei Que Você Lembra" and "Um Dia." In 2017, Michele Andrade left Limão com Mel to pursue a solo career, debuting with the single "Vida de Cão." Her solo journey picked up momentum in 2018 with "Nunca Foi Verdade," followed by "Coração de Origami." Despite facing challenges, including an unsuccessful audition on The Voice Brasil, Michele Andrade continued to grow, launching the popular Xote Bar project in 2019 and collaborating with Solange Almeida on "Era Pra Ser Eu." In 2020, her growing online presence caught the attention of Sony Music, with whom she signed a record deal, solidifying her place in the Brazilian music scene. In 2022, she released the live album series Ruedeira, Vol. 1, 2 & 3, which featured guest appearances by Batista Lima, Dom Vittor & Gustavo, and O Conde Só Brega. 2024 saw the release of another live LP titled Faces, featuring contributions from Priscila Senna, Bruno & Denner, Ãcaro e Gilmar, and Kadu Martins.
