Biography

Léo Foguete, a forró singer-songwriter from Petrolina, Brazil, found his passion for music at a young age when his grandmother gifted him a guitar for his sixth birthday. This gift ignited his dream of becoming a singer, a dream he held onto while working alongside his father in workshops and construction sites. Léo Foguete's songwriting talent became evident with the success of "Mais Uma Noite," a track recorded by João Gomes that gained significant recognition. However, it was his breakout single, 2024's "Última Noite," that truly put him on the map. The song reached the Top 10 on the Brazilian streaming charts and climbed to the Top 3 of the global viral charts, fueled by its massive popularity on social media platforms. He followed this success later that year with the track "Inconfiável." His debut album, Obrigado Deus, arrived in October of that year and featured his breakout hit as well as collaborations with Kaká e Pedrinho ("Cabelo de Sol")and DG e Batidão Stronda ("A Distância Tá Maltratando"). Léo Foguete continued releasing successful singles in 2025—“Quem de Nós Dois” and “É Hit” with Felipe Amorim—that kept his momentum on streaming charts, while his collaborations expanded with guest features on Zé Vaqueiro's “Qualidade de Vida,” Manu Bahtidão “Eu Vou Te Deixar Ir,” “À Moda Antiga” with Breno Ferreira and Alexandre Pires, and Hugo Henrique’s “Terminou Pra Que.” That year, he also dropped his second album Mais de Mim, featuring hits like "Beijo Beija-Flor," "Humilde," and "Acertada."
