Biography
Meaghan Smith, born in 1978 in London, Ontario, Canada, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. She released her first album, Lost With Directions, independently in 2004. She signed with Warner Music Canada in 2008 and released her debut studio album, The Cricket's Orchestra, in 2009. That same year, she contributed a cover of "Here Comes Your Man" to the soundtrack of (500) Days of Summer. Meaghan Smith won Best New Artist at the 2011 Juno Awards. Her subsequent albums include It Snowed (2011) and Have A Heart (2014), with the latter's lead single winning Video of the Year at the 2015 East Coast Music Awards.
