LaTasha Sheron Rogers, known professionally as MC Trouble, was born on July 30, 1970, in Los Angeles, California, and was a rap artist. She began her music career with the release of Highroller's Girl EP in 1989. In 1990, she signed to Motown Records and released her debut album, Gotta Get a Grip, which featured the single "(I Wanna) Make You Mine" featuring the Good Girls. The song peaked at number 15 on Billboard's Hot Rap Singles chart. MC Trouble's music blended hardcore rap with commercial R&B. On June 4, 1991, Rogers died in her sleep due to complications from a brain tumor and epilepsy, which resulted in heart failure. Following her death, several artists paid tribute to MC Trouble, including Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest and Boyz II Men.
