Biography
P:ano was an indie pop band from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Formed in 1999 by Larissa Loyva and Nick Krgovich, the group later included Justin Kellam and Julia Chirka. Their debut release, When It's Dark and It's Summer, was recorded at Hive Studios and co-released by the same label in 2001. P:ano's third album, Brigadoon, was released in April 2005 and appeared on the !earshot Top 200 chart that June. Their final album, Ghost Pirates Without Heads, followed in October of the same year. The band disbanded when Larissa Loyva departed in 2008. P:ano reformed in 2023 to play a concert of new material, releasing their sixth album ba ba ba in 2024.
