BHZ is a German hip-hop/trap group from Berlin consisting of the five rappers Longus Mongus, Ion Miles, Dead Dawg, Monk and Big Pat as well as the producers Max On The Beats and Sami. Their first EP Bananashake was released in spring 2017. In summer 2018, BHZ released their first album 2826, which was voted one of the ten best national hip-hop albums of 2018 by JUICE magazine. In the same year, they release the single "Bier" together with the East Frisian rap crew 102 Boyz, which contributes significantly to the popularity of both groups. BHZ performed at numerous festivals in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2018 and 2019, for example at Splash, Rock im Park, Deichbrand and Kosmonaut Festival. Various BHZ band members are also active as solo artists. Monk released his first solo EP Monk in 2018. Big Pat's EP Nova follows in May. Longus Mongus followed up in January 2019 with Kommaklar. In June 2019, Dead Dawg followed with the album Dunklschwarz. After several solo releases, the Berlin crew BHZ released their second album 3062 in September 2019. BHZ won the Best Live Act National category at the Hiphop.de Awards 2019 for their second tour. The following year, the album Kiezromantik reaches the top ten of the German album charts. The single "Flasche Luft" is their most successful song to date. At the Hiphop.de Awards 2020, the song reaches second place in the Best Song National category. Her fourth album halb:vier is released in July 2021. Three new longplayers follow in 2022 with Love.Life.Backstage, In Liebe, Ion and Acoustic Session. BHZ's musical output is also enormous in 2023. Once again, the band released three new albums Endlich wieder Sommer, Liebe und Schmerz and 2013. In July 2025, BHZ returned with the album Beeil Dich Wir Werden Erwachsen. The album reaches number 37 in the German charts.
