Matthew Burton Morris, born on May 9, 1979 in Denver, Colorado, is an American singer-songwriter. He achieved early success as a cast member of The All New Mickey Mouse Club from 1991 to 1995. Morris achieved further fame as a songwriter in the 2000s, collaborating with artists such as Christina Aguilera and Kelly Clarkson. His debut solo album UnSpoken was released in 2003. His 2010 albumWhen Everything Breaks Open was released on Justin Timberlake's Tennman Records. The album included a notable performance of "Hallelujah" with Timberlake and Charlie Sexton during the Hope for Haiti Now telethon, which topped the music chart and reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100. Morris continued to write songs for various artists after his label deal ended in 2011.
