Biography

Matt Epp, born November 25, 1980 in Crystal City, Manitoba, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He began his musical journey in high school. Epp's breakthrough came with the 2008 album Orphan Horse, which garnered international attention. In 2010, Matt Epp formed the Amorian Assembly. Their debut album, At Dawn (2011), featured collaborations with Bahamas and Rose Cousins. The Amorian Assembly’s second album, Learning to Lose Control, included the single "When You Know," which entered the CBC Radio 2 Top 20 chart and remained in the top 5 for 12 weeks. Matt Epp has collaborated with artists like Eliza Gilkyson, Serena Ryder, and Amelia Curran, and his work has been recognized by various publications and awards, including a nomination at the Juno Awards of 2014.
